Report of the Compliance Committee of the Cartagena Protocol, delivered at the opening plenary by the Chairman of the said Committee, Mr. Rigobert NTEP of Cameroon.

It is essentially a review of the work of the sixteenth and seventeenth sessions of the said committee which examined and addressed compliance issues related to the submission by the States Parties to the said Protocol of the fourth report, action plans and the animation of the Biosafety Clearing House. The report also addressed the evaluation and review of the effectiveness of the Protocol, as well as the evaluation of the Strategic Plan 2011-2010 of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety.
