Peer review - Proposals for a comprehensive and participatory process for the preparation of the post-2020 biodiversity framework

The thirteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties requested the Executive Secretary to prepare, in consultation with the Bureau and for consideration by the Subsidiary Body on Implementation at its second meeting, a proposal for a comprehensive and participatory preparatory process and timetable for the follow-up to the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 (decision XIII/1, para. 34). In response to this decision, I am pleased to circulate for peer review a draft document on proposals for a comprehensive and participatory process for the preparation of the post-2020 biodiversity framework. The draft document draws on the comments received in response to notification 2017-052.
