Waza National Park Business Plan 2015 - 2019
The Waza National Park (PNW) created in 1968, located in the Far North Region of Cameroon (between the department of Logone and Chari, and the department of Diamaré), is located in a Sahelian environment and has a rich biodiversity. As part of the implementation of development programs for the period 2015 — 2019, this business plan provides an overall financial vision of the planned actions. Specifically, it determines financial needs (data quantified by program and cost categories); explores the financial resources that can potentially be mobilized (as well as sources); explores the institutional arrangements that can best guarantee the mobilization and appropriate management of resources.
A meeting with the staff and partners of the PNW Conservation Department was held to go through the various activities and to have a better understanding, redefine and reframe the indicators of the logical framework. These indicators served as a basis for determining the quantities required for each of the expenditure categories in terms of human resources, materials and investments, operational and operating expenses. A monetary valuation of these expenditure items was then carried out.
